Today we fly from Salta back to Buenas Aires. The photo is of the Convent door just a block down the street from where we´re staying: Hotel de Antigua Convento. A lot of things on the street are named after the convent, like the Convent pharmacy and so on.Built as the first hospital in Salta, it´s now the home of Carmelite nuns. The massive wooden door was hand carved.
